All the way turned up...

Hey everybody, I have been meaning to publish my 2nd post for some time now, but just got around to it. It has been a pretty busy couple weeks with classes and kstate football starting. I felt like I had a pretty good response to my first blog post so i'm excited to keep this going. (knucks to all those who read the first post).

In my first post I talked about my Accounting teacher that hates the world, or his students, or something like that. This post I will be talking about my Macroeconomics teacher, Mohaned Al-Hamdi. Dr.Hamdi is foreign, if you couldn't have guessed. So anyways, he is a really nice guy,but rather hard to understand sometimes. My friend Ryan and I recently discovered that he has a pattern to the shirts he wears. He wears the same shirt MWF of a week, we aren't sure if he doesn't like doing laundry, or maybe it's just his lucky shirt for the week. (We will get to my lucky shirt in a bit.)

Everyday in Manhattan is a new experience. You always see something new on campus. After Natural-Disasters one day, 3 of us were walking to the parking lot and came to this long set of  (what seemed to be) never-ending stairs. So as we are walking up the stairs, we are laughing and making fun of how awkward they were, then i looked to my left, and Ryan and tripped up the stairs and ate concrete. I'm not sure if he was hungry, or just forgot how to walk, but it totally made my day. On another note, today while walking on campus, I was lucky enough to be walking along side the "Boombox Kid" He was blasting some 'Ice Ice Baby', which put me in the best of moods. I have concluded that K-State is the place for me with all of these awesome events happening on a daily basis. (boombox kid photo courtesy of ryan gotsche)

On September 4th, K-State opened up their football season with a win over UCLA, and on the 11th, beat Missouri State. I have a new type of respect for EMAW Nation, I believe that making it to the game after an amazing day of tailgating is a win, and the cats winning is another win. So 2 games into the football season, I like to look at my personal record as 4-0. I will not be attending the game this weekend in Kansas City against Iowa State, so my record will drop to 5-1 after the cats beat the cyclones. Anyways, back to the games. On game days in Manhattan, 98% of people are wearing purple, but I love looking at everyone's shirts and reading them. Most are the usual, K-State Football shirts, some degrade KU (I love those), and some are authentic. But I still believe that my Game-Day shirt is the best. I found the shirt at Goodwill last year for $1, and trace it back to around 1975. (I know you all are jealous of the fanny pack in that photo too.)

I turned 20 on Sunday and would like to thank everyone who made my weekend such a blast! I had many people reach out to me after my first post and ask for some 'knucks', but I can't just give them out to everyone at one time! Ryan Gotsche is getting 'knucks' this week for many reasons, he made my day when he tripped up the stairs, he keeps me company is Macro and Natty-D, and he took that picture for me. Another set of 'knucks' go to the crew I hangout with at Chase Manhattan Apartments (Derek,Travis,Jordan,Ted,Alyssa,Brooke,Meggan and Allie). They are a very fun group to hangout with. The last 'knucks' of the week go to Daniel Thomas, He is currently 3rd in the nation in rushing yards. So "Knucks" to you DT.

I would like to thank everyone who supports my blog by going out of your way to reading it, please feel free to comment on them and let me know what you think. Until next time, peace out dudes....
