3rd Time's a Charm, just like you ; )

Hey everyone! Hope all is going well in your lives. It's time again for me to reflect on the past 2 weeks or whatever it has been since my last post. Last week was a busy week, lots of quizzes, tons of homework, and a few big tests. College kids would agree with me that it seems like you have a few weeks of just hw, then all of a sudden you have all of your tests in one week...no fun at all. But during the past couple weeks I have had enough experiences to reflect on and write it down for you all to read.

Like I said, last week was full of tests, so I figured I better go check out what the Kansas State Library had to offer. On the outside, Hale Library looks like a 2 story castle, so I walk in not knowing what to expect, and to my surprise, the inside is pretty nice. After walking around for awhile, I figured out that I had become lost...seriously,Hale Library is bigger than Pratt High School, which is a good size building for us "small town" kids. So after a few trips to Hale I have figured out where to find certain stuff, how to get to the 1st and 3rd floors, as it can be trickier than imagined. I also came to the assumption that cute girls are smart girls, because there are TONS of cute girls at Hale. I'm not sure if my dad is paying these girls to go sit in the library so I go there to "study" or what, but it's working, props to my dad Pete!

My current Game-Day record is 7-1. K-State Football is 4-0 and I'm 3-1 tailgating, I wasn't able to make it to the game in KC, but nobody's perfect, right? Last Saturday K-State played University of Central Florida. Although the meteorologist's were predicting about a 20% chance of rain, I predicted a 100% chance, and by gosh, I was right! about 5 minutes into the game, play got suspended due to lightning, rain, and this crazy cloud . So after about an hour of standing under the bleachers waiting for the weather to pass, the game was back on. The first 55 minutes of the game were more boring than a KU vs NDSU game, ohhh wait, that game was fun to watch. But anyways, K-State came back from being down and won the game in the last minute. It was a very exciting ending to a very boring game. But hey, K-State is 4-0 thanks to the help of Daniel Thomas.

So as some of you would know, I LOVE MUSIC. I listen to just about any kind of music, it's my way of relaxing, getting pumped up,raving...just about anything! I was introduced to Andrew Logan through some mutual friends, and through Call of Duty, where he likes to be known as 'Hollywood'. He is a small-town kid with big-time talent. If you like listening to good music, check out his site. Also, I recently became aware that a band, Mammoth Life, featuring some Pratt-grown kids is going to be performing at Aggiefest on October 2nd, at The Loft in Aggieville. Their music is out of the ordinary, but after awhile gets you tapping your foot and listening, I'm excited to watch them on Saturday!

I wish I could give 'knucks' to everyone that wants a shout-out, but it just can't be done. After knowing Will Brown through mutual friends for awhile now, we finally hungout. Will is a pretty fly guy, just like myself, so I look forward to us destroying the town of Manhattan together in the future. At a get-together on Friday, Will got iced. Most of you would laugh it off and say yeah right. But Will got down on one knee and took it like a champ. (photo courtesy of Randall Rank). So "Knucks Bro" to you Will Brown! My last shout-out goes to Chris Froetschner. Word is that he is my biggest blog follower in Colorado, and even spreads word about my blog. It is important to me that out-of-state citizens follow my blog since I'm hoping to one day take over the world. Chris recently got a hot tub which will feel amazing after I get done shredding the mountain with him this winter, also, Happy 21st Birthday to Chris tomorrow! 'Knucks to Chris'!

Well guys, and girls, sorry if I bored you to death. People always mention to me how I type so much, but it's just like talking for me. And those of you that know me, know I am pretty good at talking alot. I hope everyone has a wonderful week, I will leave you with a quote.

  2. Soooo I want to argue the fact that I am the biggest out-of-state follower...but I will let it slide for now. And he will be celebrating his 22nd bday, not the 21st! Jeeze!!!
